Does anyone know the location for the PCV valve on a V6 '95 Nissan Hardbody? I've got the Chilton's manual - but it is either not described clearly, or I am just too inept to find it.

it has to be either mounted in the valve cover, or intake manifold. there shouldnt be that many vacuum hoses going to the intake and valve covers.

patrick is right. sometime the manuals are dumb with organization for certian things but its in there. take it on the pooper with you and im sure you will find it. thats how i find stupid things in the manuals lol.

haha... also, you could call a dealership...they have lots of diagrams available in the parts department

I have a 94 and I'm assuming the 95 is the same way. I just changed mine last week! Man, it was a !@#!@# to get to! It's screwed on to the engine block right above the alternator. Remove the air filter housing assembly and the oil filter so you can get to it. YES, THE OIL FILTER! Unless you think you can do it with it on. I couldn't. It 'aint easy. It's tight in there.

Can somebody tell me how to remove the rear drum? One of my wheel studs broke and I need to replce it. I got the wheel off and pounded on that drum with a hammer but no luck. Are there srews to remove?? Thanks!!

Hello Pepekaliwete,

I'm not sure if anyone answered your question yet, but I see it was posted over a month ago. I have a 97' Hardbody and I've removed the drums several times. You can use an 8mm bolt to break the drums free. You will see two locations near the center of the drum to screw the bolt into. By turning the bolt into either of these holes, it will break the drum from the hub.
