can a sr20det easily fit in a 1999 nissan altima?

it can be done but if i were you, i would just boost the ka24de thats already in the car, it would be alot cheaper then the sr20 swap, plus you have to do the research on it and find someone to do the wiring for the swap. but im pretty sure it can be done. but the ka24de-t has the same potential if done right.

yeah i agree but my car has a problem and i think it's my engine... that's why i thought of getting another one. it might be the transmission too. check my problem on the subject engine prob or any link that has my name (don't remember how i called the forum)

yes you can get an SR20DET Bluebird and itll fit into an Altima. youd just need to get an SR FWD trans from either a 200sx or Sentra that had an SR

finally the problem is in the clutch i think... so no swap but could somebody tell me what could i put in the engine to be powerfull. like wich turbo.... the brand...

HKS has a good turbo kit for the KA24 but i dont think the Altima has the correctly clearances as the one for the 240 and i believe that Greddy has a pretty good one as well but thatd have the same issue though you could more than likely use those kits and just modify some small things in the engine bay to make it work correctly
