Hey...i just recieved my Greddy Evo 2 cat back system....and i am tryin to get my old exhaust off.....the bolts are rusted and stripped ......is grinding the SOB's off my last option.

ANy suggestions?  Im open to anything?

no its not, i had the same problem changing my exhaust once. go to your local hardware store, they should have stuff that you spray on and itll get ridda the rust real nice and loosent he bolts up. the spray the stuff in the nuts and bolts when you replace the new exhaust and it should keep it from re-rusting over

yes if they are stripped,if not you may be able to put some penatrating oil on them,an heat them up with a torch,but if they are stripped gridding them is the last resort

Yea...i tried all those...but im just gonna wait til i get the headers...so i can just replace the whole system.....i should be getting the headers soon....i just dont know which ones.....either the Nismo or DC.....Ive heard a lot of bad things about Nismo...and little of anythng about the DC....anyone have any preferences or experience?

go with DC then, theyre really great headers, every friend i have whos done headers has gotten DC sport headers, theyre great, reliable, etc

i have a friend who had a spec v....and he had the nismo and the dc....and said he got more or close to the same power as the nismo and u pay half the price.....ive heard dc is called cheap power....and with the way my budget is looking...unless i find them cheap somewhere im prolly goin with dc.

I also saw the Stillen headers...but i dont want 4 to 1.....i like the idea of 4-2-1 better.
