im def gonna have to say with a header and intake an exaust will add to the power but not alone, and back to the original topic if you want more power start with easy shit if you dont mind not having ac you can delete that meaning take it out and a header and an intake are always a good start. if your really low on funds you can make an intake out of pvc pipe

yeah pvc piping isn't as sufficient as any performance intake....even an intake from pepboys made for honda's will work just fine as long as you put it all together with no leaks...next just get a muffler, go down to any muffler place and ask them if they can make you a catback....it's really cheap for the same performance.

Guessing you meant to say " Dont " just get a muffler ......a catback outperforms a muffler by 42million percent.

It makes me mad when people make PVC pipe intakes cause its so ghetto. Do it right the first time and spend the money.

Muffler shops do "Crush" bends which can crush up to 50% of the pipe diameter per bend, Go mendrel or go home!

+1 .... some muffler shops can mendrel bend, but it is not the usual practice.

perhaps so but if you get to know the guy and you get him to do it the right way then no problems shall ever come out of it...maybe its different here than it is up there....mendrel bends are the best of course but a crushed pipe done right will give the same competition

A crush bend is exactly that a crush bend. Theres nothing wrong with taking it to a local shop for a exhaust but if you want good quaitly stuff you have to go with a stainless catback exhaust, i have a GreddySP2 on my SE-R and its great super quaitly its 2.5 inches and bolts on... no cutting, welding, fitting, etc... or even worst using clamps like with a muffler shop exhaust.

How much are you willing to spend on your car? anyway to answer your question, you can change your exhaust system by installing a bigger diameter pipe, and replacing your stock nissan muffler with performance freeflow muffler. and don't forget to add  a racing filter for added roar and hp when you step on the gas pedal. Check the picture on this page, its a nice dual muff setup.  nissan muffler
