anyone else have the brake light come on for no apparent reason and then go off....the light im refering to is the one that comes on when you push down the parking brake. let me know if anyone has had this issue.

Incase if issue was not resolved (sorry just joined), I did not have this on my X-Terra, but had on other vehicle and it was low brake fluid level.

I was refering to this light.
I've had it on Toyota car and it was driving me nuts. The parkin brake light was on and off. When I topped off a brake fluid reservoir the light was out and stayed out.
There was a switch indicating low level
