I get about 17 mpg but I do mostly freeway driving. The key is to stay off the accelerator (unless you really have to!) and use cruise as much as possible.

I am on my 1st tank of gas on my 2006 Titan. I will work out mileage after the 1st service. I remember getting a bit better gas mileage on my POS Hemi after running Synthetic oil.

I get about 18.2 mpg but I do mostly city and freeway driving. I mod. the cooling systen intake heater that put heat on the intake at all times even when it is 100 or more outside. thi trick got me up from 15 mph to 16.8 mph then iI removed the bottom side of the air cleaner with a hole in the front lower corner. 3 inch in size an took off the intake through the fender this Increased milage to 18.2 in the last 5 tanks of gas. THE ONLY MOD I am about to do is replace the engine fans to electric tay say it will improve the milage by 3 mph Even 2 mile more would be nice. AND YES The key is to stay off the accelerator and use cruise as much as possible.

I have a problem that i hope canget fixed. My husband and i bought a 2006 Nissan Titan. We were very specific on what the truck had to be able to do. Like a hide a ball hitch in the bed of the truck and the typer of trailers we pull. I was told by Nisson that if I intstalled a nide-a-ball it is considered a modifacation to the truck and the warrenty wouold be void. Does anyone have any suggestions on this problem? Thank you

Two things:
1) As far as mileage goes, several of my friends with Titans get between 12-14 city.  The more modifications you do to the engine, though, the worse it will get.  One friend with a Supercharged Titan gets single digits.

For them to void your warranty, they have to provide evidence that your modification led to the fault.
