Hello People, I am intereted in swapping in a set of 95-99 Maxima Tail lights on my 200sx SER, Was wondering if anyone knows how much difference there is between the two, they Look very Similar. I am wanting to do this because I cant find any one that makes after market tail lights for my car they do for the sentra but mine are two pieces per side not one like the sentra. A little Modification is fine, but if there really different, I will just buy R-34 Lights and graft them in. I am Aksing because I live in a very small town and dont have a lot of access to any maxima's. Thank You For Any help

I have a 99 maxima that i just put tail lights in, and one of my close friends has a 97 200sx.
i can tell you hands down that maxima taillights will not work on a 200sx unless you do ALOT of body mods and fiberglass work to the entire rear end of the car. you would end up changeing the whole look of the back of the car. i think you had the right idea in just grafting different lights in. best of luck with your project.

it seems like a ridiculous amount of work to graft in new tails...

Me myself I figured I would end up grafting in the Skyline lights anyways, just for the looks. I know it is alot of work, but hey when was the last good thing that someone did to thier car that was not alot of work. When it is all done and said i will post the pics.
Thanks to all

whats up guys ??? i just thought i might tell you all what i am attemping .....i am extending my fenders and hood on my 1994 nissan sentra ..... also installing 2007 gmc full size truck headlamps and billet  grilles upper and lower .... i havent mocked up the grilles yet but these grilles are out of a 2001 full size chevy truck also but i expect the outcome to be pretty pleasing to the eye...... i may even do a  cowl hood if i can find an old junk one ....will post more later
