I just picked up a 2000 Nissan Basara to use while I''''m here in Japan. I got it at an auction and it has a couple of minor issues. I''''m hoping someone here on the forum can give me some tech advice.
1 - Navi screen won''''t pop up. I can hear the girl talking in Japanese when I start the car but the screen won''''t open when I push the button.
2 - The middle moonroof won''''t open. Seemed to work fine when I checked it out at the auction, now it won''''t open when I push the switch.
3 - Front moonroof stalls. Opens a few inches and then stops, gets going again with a little assist.
If you have had these problems with any of your Nissan vehicles or have some suggestions about how I can fix them without shelling out the big bucks at the dealer, I would appreciate you sharing your experience. Thanks.
