my t-tops on my 1990 300zx are leaking! what can i do to stop it?!

check the weatherstrip on the t-tops replace it if it's worn. thats usually the biggest problem with leaky t-tops...clean the surface before replacing it though that way u have an easier time applying the adheasive to the strip.

you can buy it at any autoparts store if they don't have it then you would have to go to the dealer.....its worth it though i had the same problem and all my cd's got messed up because of it. and if it gets into your carpet then its gonna be stinky for a while

awesome thanks! you wouldnt happen to know how to turn down the idle speed on a 1990 300zx? i tried the screws on the throtle body but all that did was made my pedal sticky... any words of wisedom?

i know on my models it was on the idle air control valve.  i'm not sure where its on the z32 models but if u can locate it that would be your best bet...i don't remember if u screw out or in but give it a try and i'm sure you'll get the result you want.
