I am planning a trip to southern Missouri, from Dallas, in late June. I am planning on pulling a 16' flatbed trailer, loaded with the little red car in my avatar, and a couple of jet skis. About 2200 pounds, plus the trailer.
My question is, what is the protocol for safely towing. Do I keep it out of overdrive and run it in 3rd? Do I need to keep at a certain speed. I have looked in the owners manual, but it has nothing in there on towing.
