My wife backed out of the garage and wasn't careful enough...caught the passenger side mirror.... Anybody know where I can purchase a new one? The car is a 2002 w/ a white (almost pearl) color. Does it come already painted? Any help would be appreciated.

usually they come in white...if your lucky it will be your white, bc of the model that the mirrors made for..makes sense...
but most of the time you will have to get it painted. Ask your local Nissan dealer if they can order one for you. good luck

If will not come painted, it is something you will have to order from the dealer.  Make sure to have your vin number available so there is no guessing on the options for it.   Welcome to the site!

You can get the replacement parts at your nearest dealer, one of our forum supporting websites, or pm me for a quote.

Well, I reluctantly called the dealer; I say reluctantly because we all know prices there are outrageous. Fortunately, the painted area is fine. The part I need is the black plastic trim "surround" as well as the black plastic piece the mirror (glass piece only) clips onto.
From the dealer, the cost for these parts (sold together) is $182.65!! I've located an exact replacement for $134.25 at nissanparts.com. I feel pretty good about this part.
I also found a replacement at autopartswarehouse.com for $74.70. Which, if it's correct would be a savings of $108.15 vs. the dealer!!! I will call the companies to be sure and let you know which way I go. The $74.70 one scares me a bit; it seems like it may be too cheap. Anyway, I'll let you know once a buy & install.
By The Way, does anyone know how to tell if the mirror is heated just by looking at it? if not, would it be in the trim tag?
