Could someone please tell me how you get the front bumper off of a 1985 300zx turbo? I already have the bolts out there are on the inside of the fenderwells but I can't figure out how to get the ones out that are right in front of the headlights...

your probably going to have to remove the headlights to get to the bolt underneath them and also there are probably bolts between the fender and bumper to so just look and you can figure it out.

I've gotten the ones out that go through the fenderwell. I can't figure out how you get the headlights out though.

well i have never perosonaly worked on any z31 300z's so honestly i dont know but it cant be that hard. if you have a manual it should tell you how in there. you can get a manual from the auto part stores and book stores.

there are 3 screws across top i beleave that you should be able to see without taking off the headlamp lid,but in back of the lid should be a rubber flap lift it up and you should see the 3 screws,f you can't see them take off the lid and you will then, the lid has 2 screws one on each side that will allow you to remove it,you will see what else you need to unscrew from there to remove the light assembly i had several of that body style z but my last one was about3 years ago so my memory isn't 100% but i remember a little about that when i had to remove the bumper to get to the radiator

i have an 86. and underneath the bumper there is like 20 or more screws holding it on. you dont need to take off the head lights. just the 3 screws in the wheel well on each side and the ones under neath the bumper itself.
