I have a 92 Nissan Sentra SE-R with the SR20DE engine in it. It has 144,000 miles on it and I want to rebuild my SR20DE so that I can turbocharge it in the future. What internals do I need to change out? What brand should I buy the new internals from?
Now, obviously, I need new rings because my compression was 155-165 PSI across all 4 cylinders. I'm thinking of getting new pistons, too. So here's my list so far:
~ Essential ~
Pistons
Rings
Head Gasket
~ Optional ~
Rods
Crankshaft
Valves
Should I add anything to this list? Should I move some stuff from the optional list to the essential list?
