these two codes are referring to malfunctions in the following areas...
P0400 EGR volume control valve
P0325 Knock sensor
both of these can cause issues with a sluggish running engine

thank you, how do i fix it.  I am very familiar with mechanical work, but do most work on trucks and diesels.  So any input that you have is appreciated!

well if you motor is not knocking then your knock sensor is probably bad you can do a bench test with an ohm meter and a hammer and check to see if the ohms fluxuate while hitting the vise on a bench with the sensor clamped down, the egr i have no idea your going to have to check to see if its operating properly but i never mess with egr i always delete it on all my performance nissans so i cant help you there

like i said i dont usually mess with egr valves but there usually connected to the exhaust with small metal tube/s coming off the exhaust manifold and go to the egr valve, if it has high mileage then it might just be stuck open or closed cause that check engine light to come on but i would fix the knock sensor asap before worrying about the egr cause thats just emmission crap.

Thanks for your help here.  Car has 170K miles.  Where is the knock sensor, is this just an 02 sensor?  How do i replace it?
